CSS Rebooter, A Target

Several weeks ago, I registered as one of May CSS Rebooter”. Yes, I am. Through several work at night and a bit of busy days, it still not finished yet. Well, the damn show must go on! First, I managed to launch my new Textpattern powered website. This is a step to a real rebooter.

I made a lot of changes during this redesign, before the actual design implemented. First, I has moved my Content Management System used by this site from Wordpress to Textpattern. It’s a wonderful scenario though, because of what TXP can do most of our job, it’s worth.

Before this TXP days, I run two WP engines to power both my english weblog and Indonesian one. This is really hard to maintain, and I often forget I had an English blog. So, I abandoned this one. With this brand new site (I hope finished it in one or so days next), the engine using one TXP installation, which is the actual power of TXP. Consequently, I manage to simplify my weblog hierarchy, I think I will run one weblog, even it can be accessed through two address, /weblog for English version and /catatan for Indonesian version. But it is actually one weblog. No cunfusion. More productive, I hope.

What’s else? I think, no more chit chat.

    And Textpattern’s “Section” is really amazing, isn’t it? That’s why I choose Textpattern for its power and simplicity.
