Our Lovely Sucks Post Office

I did some business again with post office. Like what I said before about Mr. Postman. And here are the fascinating pictures I took with my phone camera, a 1.3MP without flash. Yeah, not look good, but tell something.

It’s Started in Parking Lot

Because of limited space the post office has for parking space, even the street are occupied by so many sellers, yeah that famous Pasar Minggu market, so post office parking lot seems terrible. It’s so difficult to enter the yard (and its parking lot). And, it’s become difficult again to place my motorcycle. Even, I should waited this man to go outside before entering the office.

Crowded Queue

And, this is the situation in first floor. It is for ordinary post office business for letter and package. The place for payment service are at the second floor. There I went for.

Where is My Line?

And this is the situation in second floor.

A big question if you want to queue normally. It’s no queue line, ladies and gentleman. No queue ticket. No staff arranging it. Yeah, there is actually little management by the staff on the counter, for queuing for your payment. You can write your purpose of payment, like “Shar-e Deposit” and put your number and the name. Then, put down the paper. Yes, it is your own paper, no designate form etc. You can use toilet tissue if you like. It does the business :-)

When I will be Called?

And wait until your name is to be called.

Some Business Happen

There are some business running inside the post office. I think the post office did have sharing revenue or space rent for this kind of business, mostly loan offering. I can remember HSBC, btpn, and some local credit organization put their desk on the second floor. But, I really suggest if some of post office staff read this, please take care of your business before running for other business.

After taking this shot, the battery is dried, my phone automatically disabled for camera work. Yeah, it’s good there are not any more sucks post office pictures taken.

Meanwhile, I understand this is the so called situation in the developing nation. It seems usual this happened in most public service companies here. It’s normal, sucks it? Once happened I didn’t have the time to go to post office and my wife went by herself. Surprised, she returned for nothing after waiting for half hour. She questioned why there were not any stuff can help her to bring her in the right place. Or, why the queue is so worst. She even didn’t manage how such post office managed to work serving so many people for modern payment system like: credit card payment, retirement payment, phone billing, water billing, interbank payment system, and some more. I laugh while she told it.

Because the payment need to be placed for this day, I took the responsibility. Be back again for hate-must business with post office! This is our lovely sucks Post Office.
