Silicon Valley Awesome Move

Silicon Valley is a good example to show how a company take care about their business, even tough one like Twitter has a major problems, like famous server outages, and recently their action to shut down their IM system.

The nice and brightest one is showed when Robert Scoble, a popular tech blogger post about how Twitter blame their best user. Actually, the Twitter just give honest answer :-) Then, Scoble ask whether he can come over to Twitter office. Twitter give yes to answer.

Then, Scoble blog it about his meeting with them. Next, TechCrunch didn’t want to lose the beat too, Mike Arrington ask several questions deeply asking about specific technology issues on Twitter in his blog to Twitter just 8 hours ago.

And, just one hour ago (six hours to answer), The Twitter team give the quick answer. I just wonder they work over weekend and posting in late night. It also clear to me Twitter move while dealing the outages is awesome. They make a new blog to show up to public about their system status. And, apparently they opened up about everything goes on Twitter. Even, the detailed questions like Mike did is also answered openly. Wew.

Let’s wait how Twitter will survive. Tough, it awesome move by Silicon Valley.

Funny quote I just read from TechCrunch, “twitter should close shop on micro-blogging and start a pr firm”.

Have a nice weekend.

I thought that quote was a “sindiran”, I may just read it too fast :D.

Twitter accepting media visit is just logic. And I don’t think it has much to do with good PR. It’s more into marketing move for me? Or is it PR? PR is a part of marketing?
