Design is not about Photoshop

Well, it’s finally culminated.

After reading 37signals’ post about why they skip photoshop, as a man who do work as front end engineer I can’t agree more. And with the blood of a bit of designer :) This is definitely inappropriate. In my opinion, Photoshop played a role for all work flow especially in web development industry. May be you can skip a while photoshop, but just denying all you have done is inappropriate.

So, well, this day I read the post from fellow designers commenting it. Here from Mark Boulton, Jeff Croft, and Jon Hicks one.

    1. The 37Signals write about application design, not a kinda frontend visual aesthetics.

    2. The article talk about workflow, not directly about the PS tools (as per Jeff Croft rebuttal article).
