Tommy Soeharto transferred to Nusakambangan prison
What do you think if a son of former 32 years ruled president has been jailed far away from the 'world' (in case of Indonesia, Nusakambangan in the sounth of Central Java, is far away to reach). As a good reason, Nusakambangan is likely Al Catraz prisone which used to jailing crap criminal like Al Capone. Differently, Al Catraz surely known very damned for every criminal, so it would be good to keep the bad people there. But what do you think in Indonesia? As a bad reason, Tommy would get its new palace there. Paying back the staff (bribe), get new housekeeper, buy new things, and gotcha he must be get new paradise there while he stay in jail :) It is very unoptimistic thinking of course, but, by wondering if Tommy was jailed there, the press probably have no much time to control over and over. It's really different if Tommy jailed in Cipinang, Jakarta (for example). In Cipinang, every Jakarta's journalists probably look for there every day (covering everyday criminal). It creates stimultaneously control over there. So, i have no wonder what's will going on in the next half-year by Tommy over Nusakambangan? New company, new business, new girlfriends? May be, let's see!Posted at August 15, 2002 06:22 PM | Indonesia
